# Closable

The base class of objects that hold memory until they are closed, like media.

### *class* webrtc.models.closable.Closable

An object that holds memory, like media data, until [`close()`](#webrtc.models.closable.Closable.close) is called.

It’s a context manager, so leaving a `with` block closes it.

#### *abstractmethod* close()

Releases the memory. Closing an object again does nothing.
